Overview: 

The EUSS Vulnerability Team are hosting online workshops for those applying for status via the EU Settlement Scheme, on behalf of looked-after children.

These 3 summer workshops will focus specifically on the challenges that children from the Roma community may face.

There will be a brief overview of the application processes -those of you who have attended previous workshops will be familiar with this content. This will be followed by a presentation from guest speakers Mihai Calin Bica from the Roma Support Group, and Dr. Owen Parker, Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield.

These workshops will be hosted via Microsoft Teams on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 3rd June 2025 between 10:30am-11:30am
  • Wednesday 25th June 2025 between 10:30am-11:30am
  • Thursday 17th July 2025 between 10:30am-11:30am

The session will be an hour and will hold a Q&A session after the event.
